84. Nasruddin and the Philosopher’s Questions
A renowned philosopher traveled to Nasruddin’s town to challenge him in a contest of wisdom. Everyone gathered to see the show, hoping that Nasruddin would uphold the honor of their town.
To begin the contest, the challenger asked if Nasruddin wanted to answer one hundred easy questions or just one hard question.
“I’ll take the one hard question,” Nasruddin said.
“Which came first: the chicken or the egg?”
“The chicken,” replied Nasruddin confidently.
The philosopher was surprised by Nasruddin’s answer. “How can you be so sure?”
“Ah,” said Nasruddin, “that is your second question. I agreed to answer only one.”

The trip to RV City and Sierra Vista yesterday was more than half way successful. It started off bad with Giro Taco not open at 7:00 but a worker did open the door at about 7:05 to tell us that were waiting that they would not open until 8:30. I walked away before hearing the reason. Went to Café Olé for breakfast. Had much better luck at the CoOp, they had my order and they open at 8:00. Went from there to my UPS Store which also opened at 8:00 and picked up mail which was mostly junk as I had anticipated. Had a short wait for the bank to open at 9:00 where I got quarters for the laundromats this summer. So at that point I was three of four.
Went to RV City and arrived about 30 minutes before my appointment. Left them the keys for Desperado and spent about three hours in their waiting room where I finished reading the book I posted about yesterday. Went to see if they had finished the work and found that the glass channel they had ordered was not the correct size. They are going to reorder and I’ll probably have a longer drive for the second attempt to fix that problem. They could not find anything wrong with the A/C and when I got back to the Campground I ran it with no problems for 4-5 hours. So, one out of two at RV City.
When I got back to the Campground there were no packages at my space. Did a FedEx tracker search and found that the packages were delivered to “McNeal” at 10:38 yesterday morning. Walked up to the Host’s check-in shack and found that the FedEx driver had asked him if I had left. The Host said I probably had an appointment and he would accept the packages which he then brought down to my space later in the afternoon.
Overall not too bad except for the second trip to get the window glass channels replaced.
