158. Nasruddin Commands the Tree
“I’m actually a saint,” Nasruddin told his neighbor. “And as a saint, I have supernatural powers.”
“Prove it!” said his neighbor. “If you have supernatural powers, command that tree over there to come here and bow down to you.”
“O Tree,” shouted Nasruddin, “come here and bow down to me!”
The tree did not move.
Nasruddin waited a moment, and then he walked over to the tree and bowed down before it.
“What are you doing?” asked his neighbor.
“Saints like me are also very modest,” Nasruddin explained. “If the tree won’t come to me, I’ll go to the tree.”

The shopping trip to Reserve yesterday was partially successful. I was able to get breakfast at Ella’s, they were open this day that that they claimed to be. It is a coin flip that seems to decide if they will open or not. At Jake’s I was again not successful in getting my Sykr yogurt order, one more chance next week.
There was heavy cloud cover when we got up with lighting flashing, distant thunder and light rain. The forecast is for morning rain so I don’t plan on going for our walk and getting wet. This week the walking distance is going to be very low; not sure if Erik is more disappointed than I am.
