Nothing much happening here. The elk bow season is now in its second week with rather limited success by the hunter compared with prior years. The park is almost full with a few leaving then being replaced with new arrivals. Reasonably quiet as they have been in past years.
I’ll be going to town tomorrow to get groceries again with an intended breakfast at Ella’s. If it is anything like the last couple of years during elk bow season there will be a bigger crowd there.
Almost every day during September we have received rain. Not enough rain for most people to say it has rained but in this area that has suffered a drought even a hard sprinkle, which is about what we have been getting, is very welcome. The downside to that is the increased humidity which again most people would not notice and would claim that it was dry and no humidity. A desert rat like myself suffers with ANY increase in humidity.
Still working on that 5th journal, Cross Country Tour, conversion. I’m about half way finished and think I have done the most difficult half. It is now mostly cut and paste ‘grunt’ work. The next journal will be much the same that should go a little faster now that I have a model.
