33. THE WISDOM OF CAMELS…

This is an interesting book that opened my mind to the possible future. It could be read as science fiction although the authors did not write it with that in mind. They are serious that this is the direction the economy will take. I have doubts.

If this had been a text for American History, more people would have loved history! Bruce Lancaster brings the people and events to life, and I found myself reading it as though it were a novel. Not only was it history, it was well written history! Henry Knox, Dan Morgan, Francis Marion, von Steuben--all the men who have been just names became living, breathing people. — edited Customer Review @ Amazon

This is an excellent history of the American Revolution. What made it even better, the author was a writer and a novelist that wrote it to be read by the plebs not academic elites. He was also able to write the entire book without using a single footnote. Highly recommended. So far all the books I have read in the Mainstream of America Series are recommended.

I had my last breakfast , this stay, at the Morning Cafe in Bisbee on Saturday. That was also my last shopping trip to Bisbee; stocked up enough to last me a couple of weeks I hope. While being close to the laundromat from Safeway I got laundry done as well. Then drove into Old Bisbee where I had a short wait for The Old Bisbee Roaster to open and grind #5 of cofee for me. I have been ordering from him online for a few years but this was the first time that I was close enough to stop by and pick it up.

Got started doing the month end house cleaning chores on Sunday. Finished doing them on Monday plus I got the holding tanks dumped and water tank filled. So I'm ready to get on the road to my next camp. It is not going to be a very long drive but I'm planning on making it longer than it need be by going out of my way to make a few stops.

Eva Lotte Louise Joan Vlaardingerbroek is a Dutch right-wing activist and a legal philosopher by education. She has been particularly vocal about the issues surrounding farmers in the Dutch farmers' protests and is noted for her criticism of the Dutch government under prime minister Mark Rutte. Here is the transcript from her CPAC Hungary speech held Budapest, Hungary. The Main Stream Media gave passing mention to Prime Minister Viktor Orban's remarks at the meeting but have avoided Eva's. This speech is the reason why the Biden administration and Western elites are so desperate to control speech. They can’t allow the people to have access to free thoughts and differing ideas.

32. NASRUDDIN RESCUES THE MOON

Nasruddin’s house happened to catch on fire while Nasruddin was in the coffeehouse. One of his neighbors came bursting in to tell him the bad news.

“Nasruddin!” he shouted. “Come quickly! Your house is on fire!”

Nasruddin jumped up and ran to see what had happened. It was true: his house really was on fire. Flames were shooting up into the air and the whole structure was about to collapse.

Nasruddin, however, just stood there smiling.…

31. THE SUN OR THE MOON?…

Slot machines, revamped by evermore compelling digital and video technology, have unseated traditional casino games as the gambling industry's revenue mainstay. Drawing on fifteen years of field research in Las Vegas, anthropologist Natasha Dow Schüll explores the dark side of machine gambling—a solitary, rapid, continuous form of play that has less to do with the competitive thrill of winning than with the pull of "the machine zone," as gamblers call the trancelike state they enter.
