We got some rain Saturday afternoon. My closest weather underground reporting station is 18 miles away and they reported 0.02″ which I’m guessing is about what I got here. It was enough to dampen the ground but not much of a rain. There was also a tried to rain yesterday but the best I can say for it is there was a trace. There is more to come on Wednesday and Thursday if the forecast is right. This is a bit early for the monsoon but we could be getting the start of it.
I have updated the Virtual Walk maps that can be found in a widget in the right side panel. I have made in out of MT and into SD, a new state which always make me feel like I have accomplished something. The weekly walks have been shorter that what I was doing during the winter months and that will probably be true during the rest of the summer. Too hot and there are those days when we get rained out.
