57. The Sound of a Cloak
Nasruddin and his wife were arguing loudly, and the neighbors heard everything, as usual.
But then there was a loud bump bump bump and finally a big thump.
The arguing stopped after that, and the neighbors wondered what had happened.
The next day one of the neighbors said to Nasruddin, “What happened last night? Is everything okay at your house?”
“Everything’s fine!” Nasruddin replied. “My wife just threw my cloak down the stairs.”
“I didn’t think a cloak could have made that much noise,” said the neighbor.
“Well,” Nasruddin admitted, “I happened to be wearing the cloak at the time.”

My trip to Sierra Vista on Wednesday was for the most part a sucess. First off I got laundry done then had breakfast at Café Olé.
Just a few blocks from there is the Co-Op where I left a message for the Grocery Manager that I was interested in getting some bulk grains from them; chai seeds, hulled barley and oat groats
From there I went to the Safeway parking lot where I could park and walk to Cool Cuts for a haircut and Safeway for groceries. The building were Cool Cuts is located also has the AT&T store which I went to but they were closed to take inventory. I went back after going to Wal*Mart and picked up my new reading classes in the old frames that I liked. That didn’t take long and a I was back at AT&T when they opened.
The sales rep there told me that AT&T probably could NOT provide any better service at this Double Adobe location that what Verizon was providing. He suggested I try Cox which he used. I checked their coverage map and could not find any hot spots closer than Douglas so probably the same level of service — POOR.
On the way out of town I stopped at the MVD to get a renewed drivers license and change the registration address for Desperado. There were two clerks working and I had four people in front of me so the wait was longer than the time it took to get what I wanted done. Even with the wait I was out of there and on my way back to my space in the Campground. Got every thing done that I wanted and was out of town by noon.
As always, view anything the government recommends as being good, or worse, absolutely necessary, for your health with extreme skepticism. Remember, when they tell you that they want to reduce the population, they’re talking about you. — Vox Day
