Whereas Volume 1 of Endgame presents the problem of civilization, Volume 2 of this pivotal work illustrates our means of resistance. Incensed and hopeful, impassioned and lucid, Endgame leapfrogs the environmental movement’s deadlock over our willingness to change our conduct, focusing instead on our ability to adapt to the impending ecological revolution. — Book promo @ goodreads.com

Too hot. Yesterday morning I did our walk and by the time we got back to Desperado at 8:30 it was already 78°F. Saturday the high was 92 yesterday the same with the 10 day forecast being more of the same or higher. We could see a 100 degree day here before I leave at the end of May. The good news is I could have still been at Goldminer RV Park where it was 98 on Saturday. HA
I’ll go to Truth or Consequences tomorrow to do laundry and have breakfast at Tony’s where I got a good breakfast last time I was here. I’ll also stop at Bullocks for groceries; it is either there or WalMart. There are not a lot of choices in Elephant Butte and Truth or Consequences.
