106. Nasruddin the Architect
“Our house is so crowded,” Nasruddin’s neighbor complained. “We can’t stand it anymore.”
“I can help,” Nasruddin said. “Will you obey my advice exactly?”
His neighbor nodded.
“Bring your goats, chickens, and donkey into the house.”
A week later, the neighbor told Nasruddin, “That just made things worse!”
“I know,” said Nasruddin. “But now, send the donkey outside.”
“That’s better,” said the neighbor a week later.
“Now send the chickens back out.”
“That’s much better,” the neighbor said next time.
“Now the goats.”
Nasruddin’s neighbor came back smiling. “Thank you, Nasruddin!” he said. “Our house is so much bigger now!”

It continues to rain almost every day and the mornings have been relatively cold. I’ve been wearing my gloves these past few morning because the circulation in my hands is poor and I feel the cold in them long before I feel cold anywhere else.
The Park emptied out during this past weekend and on Monday. The elk bow season closed and many disappointed bow hunters went home. The black powder muzzle loaders will be coming in around 10 October to try their luck in certain hunting areas. About that same time other areas will open season for any licenened hunter so the Park will fill up again but I’ll be gone.
I’m making progress on the map conversions in the Car Trip pages. Probably will not complete them by the time I leave here but soon after getting to my new (returned) camp. Then I’ll start on the Teardrop Trips which will take me a long time to do all of them. It will keep me busy during the winter monts. HA
