92. Nasruddin and the Grapes

Nasruddin was on his way home carrying a basket full of bunches of grapes when he ran into some children along the way.

“Give us some grapes, Nasruddin!” shouted the children. “Please, Nasruddin, share your grapes with us!”

Nasruddin really didn’t want to share his grapes with the children, but the children insisted.

Reluctantly, he took some grapes from the basket and cut each grape in half. He then gave each child half a grape.

“Give us more!” the children complained.

“All the grapes in this basket taste the same,” Nasruddin explained. “Half of a grape is all you need.”

Headline for a News item “Older U.S. adults are increasingly dying from unintentional falls”. The story goes on to provide a lot of fall data and says that white people deaths make up 87% of all the deaths while older Black people had the lowest fall-related death rate. What the article does not say is how many deaths occur because of intended falls.

Also Headline News from Japan
“A COVID vaccine database covering 18 million citizens has just been released for the first time.
After reviewing the data, a top professor warned: “The more doses you get, the sooner you’re likely to die.”
The most terrifying finding was a deadly spike just 3 to 4 months after the final shot.”

Also in the News is this:
“Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.”
People filling out applications for jobs that US citizens will not do that require illegals to do them. Who would have guessed this would happen?

The engine replacement has been delayed due to an outrageous shipping charge quoted by the company that the Reserve garage wanted to provide it. He is looking for an alternative that is affordable. Meanwhile I’ll see if I can get the RV repair shop in Silver City to install a replacement A/C.

I am showing only a portion of the email I received a few days ago. What a sorry excuse for a phishing expedition and trying to get $250. I have added some comments.
