The ultimate weapon isn’t this plague out in Vegas, or any new super H-bomb. The ultimate weapon has always existed. Every man, every woman, and every child owns it. It’s the ability to say NO and take the consequences. – Hagbard Celine, Leviathan
Illuminatus! Part III cheerfully ushers in the apocalyptic high-camp conclusion of the Illuminatus! Trilogy. The 9th and 10th Trips are performed by a grand ensemble cast. The Appendices (which are most instructive) bringing the trilogy full circle. The Illuminati has never looked so good. All Hail Eris! — Book promo @ goodreads.com
The Illuminatus! Trilogy comprises three parts which contain five books and appendices: The Eye in the Pyramid (first two books), The Golden Apple (third and part of fourth book), Leviathan (part of fourth and all of fifth book, and the appendices). The parts were first published as three separate volumes starting in September 1975. In 1984 they were published as an omnibus edition and are now more commonly reprinted in the latter form.
This was NOT an easy three books to read, at least it was not for me. Or as one customer reviewer said “It’s original and has some very good and complex writing. After reading the first two volumes, the third seemed to drag and frankly it was too much effort to try and keep the story/timeline/narration straight.”
A diplomatic row is escalating between Mexico and the United States as part of a general pivot of the Latin American country away from Washington’s overbearing influence.
Outgoing President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has accused the US of sponsoring opposition NGOs through USAID programs. Obrador said his Foreign Ministry had sent a diplomatic notice in protest at the funding of groups such as Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI), while he would personally write to US President Joe Biden about it.US-Mexico Row Heats Up as Latin American State Pivots From America’s Grip by Svetlana Ekimenko
The United States main stream media is doing their magic trick again by focusing on the wars in Ukraine, the Middle East and China and ignoring what is happening at our back door (including the “newcomers”). OH look at this over here is their number one effort.
For the past few days I have had a very slow Internet connection. That is when using the Park’s WIFI and/or Verizon. I think part of the Park WIFI problem is someone in the park is down loading movies in the afternoon for their night time viewing. The Verizon problem is just Verizon being who they are. I used them sparingly until a couple of week ago when the Park WIFI started getting dicey.

I gave up on Verizon’s pre-paid plan three years ago, and switched to ATT. Deprioritization was such a problem on Verizon’s prepaid plan. But sometimes I wonder what it is like to have Verizon’s postpaid plan.
I have their ‘unlimited’ data plan which by their definition of ‘unlimited’ is 15G a month. Their ‘unlimited’ means that they will not use “Deprioritization” until I go over that limit. However, where I tend to camp their service is such that it does not make any difference. Where I’m at now I’m lucky to see one bar on my MIFI router. Most of my camps I’ll get two bars at the most.
